Land Surveyor The City of Dubuque Iowa (population 58,000) invites applications for the position of Land Surveyor. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising and performing a full range of surveying assignments to facilitate the construction of roads, building sites, recreational areas and bridges. The successful applicant will possess a bachelors or associates degree from an accredited college or university in civil engineering with an emphasis in surveying and considerable background in the performance and supervision of land survey activities; or any equivalent combination of background and training which provides the essential knowledge, skills and abilities. The successful applicant will demonstrate an expertise to follow a management philosophy that is input oriented and values issue solving and the development of partnerships and a desire to be part of an organization that values service, people, integrity, responsibility, innovation and teamwork. The City offers an annual compensation range of $59,196 to $77,396 and an attractive benefits program.
